Islamic Religious Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina Maktabs through the Prism of Mu'allims

This article aims to highlight the core educational/upbringing processes of Islamic Religious Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina maktabs, based on theoretical framework qualitative research using interview methods. A short development status maktabs as basic nonformal institutions education among Muslims is provided introduction. The aim examine attitudes experiences muallims regarding possibilities realizing fundamental areas religious education/upbringing, use approaches, methods, forms children maktabs. part also perceptions about importance principles upbringing children. findings show that through methodical/didactical work with children, it possible develop all this process runs simultaneously, building a complete personality child. It apparent respect educational principles, note certain are difficult fully implement due numerous limitations. When comes approaches evident prevalent approach directed towards positive transformation encouragement pupils, which stimulates internalization universal values.
